The 2012 Miloli'i Lawai'a 'Ohana camp coordinators are Kaimi Kaupiko and Leivallyn Kaupu. Kaimi and Lei were born and raised in Miloli'i and have been coordinating youth education programs that include traditional and sustainable fisheries programs for many years.

Kaimi Kaupiko is a graduate of the University of Hawai'i Manoa with majors in marketing. Lei Kaupu is also a graduate of the University of Hawai'i Manoa and has a major in Hawaiian Studies. For over 15 years Kaimi and Lei coordinated Summer Fun Educational Programs for Miloli'I, which featured a full week of marine related activities. These activities included working with kupuna to learn traditional sustainable fishing methods, recording traditional knowledge about fisheries and marine management, using educational media to document and share important lessons in marine and fisheries management and sustainability.

Kaimi & Lei are currently involved in numerous community projects and events (i.e., Miloli'i Hawaiian Cultural Charter School, Holiday Gathering Events)
